The video opens with Truffle lying on the floor while two daycare mates sniff and investigate her. She wiggles happily in the middle of it all while the in-video text reads, “POV: Truffle’s first day at daycare.” Her owners joke that she “immediately started networking,” which becomes very believable almost immediately.
She spends the next few hours zooming around the play area while other dogs chase her. She drops into a classic play bow to keep the games moving. Things get rowdy during some friendly roughhousing. The in-video text jokes that human resources would likely want to discuss her extreme energy levels.
The real comedy begins when her family shows up at the pickup window. Truffle sits by herself and spots her parents filming. She looks at them once, glances at another dog, and quickly stares away. The puppy actively pretends she does not see her owner to avoid leaving the daycare facility.
And apparently, the protest continued afterward, too, because the final clip shows Truffle being carried home in her dad’s arms after “refusing to walk home.” Between the nonstop playing and her refusal to acknowledge her owner later, she really does seem like someone avoiding leaving a party too early.
