Pregnant’ Dog & Mom Have Their Babies Growing up Together Like a Fairytale

A year ago, the family couch already looked crowded, with Alba, the English Cocker Spaniel, and her human mom curled up together. They were eating strawberries and looked totally wiped out from being pregnant. Now, that same couch has somehow gotten even fuller, and way sweeter, too. The video posted by @alba.thecocker starts with a pregnant mom and pregnant dog side by side, but honestly, it’s the babies growing up together that got everyone emotional.

In the caption, the dog’s mom admits nobody really knew what life would look like once both babies arrived. But things somehow worked out in the sweetest way possible. First comes a throwback moment of the two moms-to-be, human and canine, relaxing together on the sofa while sharing a bowl of strawberries.

Human pregnancy is tough enough, but handling it alongside a furry best friend involves a lot of shared naps and matching snack cravings. However, the newer clips feel completely different now that the babies are here. They seem to be filling up every corner of the room. Now, the couch is occupied by a growing family, including Alba’s sweet puppy son, Bruno, and a beautiful baby girl named Zuri.

Early interactions between the babies show a young Bruno carefully sniffing the infant’s legs during daily tummy time on the mat. Pretty quickly, those cautious puppy sniffs turn into naps together. On-screen text explains that the young pair not only got along; they instantly became best friends.

In one shot, we see Bruno resting his chin directly into the crook of the little girl’s arms while her mother watches closely. In another, Bruno is licking Zuri’s little foot while she bounces and giggles away like it’s the funniest thing she’s ever experienced.
