It’s tough to keep working diligently on a Friday because the weekend is almost here, but it gets tougher when you have a sweet dog demanding pets. Gussy from @gussythegoofygolden has decided that his favorite person is officially off the clock. This dog believes that being an owner means providing pets on demand, but he makes his request very politely. Per his bio, he is a Retriever–Pyrenees who loves being goofy. In this video, though, he uses his sweetest facial expressions to show he wants some attention.

The video starts with Gussy already standing up with his front paws resting on Mom’s work chair. She is sitting right there filming him while he insists that she be done with work already. He has his absolute best puppy eyes look on during the whole interaction. Mom tells him in the softest voice that she is not finished working yet. He perks up his ears at his name and then pulls them back again.
Gus clearly thinks the weekend has begun despite the time on the clock. Mom laughs and tries to explain that the weekend hasn’t actually started. She tells him she still has one more hour of tasks to complete. However, Gussy just pushes one of his paws further onto the chair. He seems to understand every single word his owner says while he waits politely for a better answer.
Mom continues talking about future cuddles and couch time to keep him calm. She even takes his paw in her hand to seal the deal on their afternoon plans. Gussy finally understands the situation and hops back down onto all four paws to walk away. This sweet interaction has earned over 3.5k likes because people can’t get over his polite manners.
